We started out in 1979 bringing home our first companion; a blue puppy dog called Oliver. We became friends with Mr and Mrs Cropley "Yaresvilles" affix, who invited us to visit our first Great Dane show; it was there we fell in love with the fawns.

We then searched for the lines we liked and purchased two more puppies this was to be the beginning of the Lucerne Danes.

Over the years we have had the pleasure of making many new friends and acquaintances,
this adds to the delight of showing these beautiful dogs.

Although we are a small kennel whose Danes are our hobby, we like to think we are a selective one who only breed a litter when we need something new to take into the ring. 

Our aim is to concentrate on breeding sound healthy Danes with the sweetest of temperament this breed is known for.
